Maria Tullberg, an award winning, Swedish General Manager with extensive international experience, is the new head of one of Stockholm’s biggest hotels; Radisson Blu Waterfront Hotel & Stockholm Waterfront Congress Centre – the hotel also ranked as Stockholm’s best hotel, according to the guests at Hotels.com.

Maria has a broad experience as hotelier with over 25 years of experience in the industry. She started her career 1993 as Regional Sales Manager at Selma Lagerlöf Hotel & Spa, Sunne, Sweden and has had various positions within the hospitality industry and been Hotel Manager and General Manager for several properties.
Her first appointment as a General Manger for Radisson Hotel Group was in 2010 for Radisson Blu Arlandia Hotel & Radisson Blu SkyCity, Stockholm, Sweden. Her team received the prestigious award “Hotel of the Year” before she continued her career in Middle East In 2015, Maria moved to Dubai and was General Manager for Radisson Blu Deira Creek – a hotel with 500 employees and 16 food and beverage outlets.
She was first female ever to be awarded ‘General Manager of The Year’ by Hotelier Middle East. Tullberg also worked as general manager at Scandic Infra City in Stockholm from 2006 to 2008, and as district director of Scandic’s 10 hotels in Stockholm from 2007-2008. The Scandinavian national graduated from Uppsala University with a Bachelor of Science, Business Administration, and Economics, and has more than 15 years of experience in the industry.
